The Chrysler 300M appeared in 1998 as a rival to European sports luxury sedans. Under the hood it had a 254bhp 3.5-liter V6 engine, that drove the front wheels through a four-speed automatic gearbox, although this transmission also allowed the driver to shift gears as well.
