Installing USB Canon PIXMA MG6350 Printer’s Driver (works for both Windows and Mac)—General Guidelines for Printers with Automatic Installation System

1. Connect your printer Canon PIXMA MG6350 with your computer. Keep in mind that you must always use the USB port(s) on your computer without using a hub. And some printers may need to connect to a power source, too.
2. Turn the unit on. The printer’s feed page mechanism may make some noise at this point while its LED indicator should come off.
3. Devices that run on latest version of either Mac or Windows should be able to install the necessary files and programs right on, although internet connection might be needed too for the device to install them. For those who are using any of these devices, this would be all. For those running on an older version, read on.
4. Use the installation CD that comes with the Canon PIXMA MG6350. Standard Connection Method

Step 1

1. Press printer’s Home button.

Step 2

1. Use navigation arrows to select WLAN Setup icon.
2. Press the left function button.

Wi-Fi lamp will light up after enabling wireless connection. Printer searches for access that supports WPS.

Step 3

1. Press the Stop/Reset button
2. Select Standard setup then press OK button to start process of standard setup.

Printer is searching for available wireless network.

3. Use navigation arrows to select access point (the name of your network). Press OK.

Press left function button to search again if you cannot see your network on the list.

4. Press OK to input/edit network password (case sensitive).

Use the virtual keyboard to enter a password. Follow the procedure as instructed:

1. Password is case sensitive. Press the center function button to navigate between numeric, upper case, and lower case.
2. Use navigation arrows to pick a character on the keyboard, press OK to confirm selection, and move another character.
3. Repeat step (a) and (b) for more characters to input.
4. After inputting password, press left function button to complete.
5. Confirm your password. Press OK to edit, if needed.
6. Press left function button to complete setup. Press OK.
